Golfing Instructions - How To Transition Your Swing From The Range To The Course
By Paul Benjamin

The driving range is an extremely important resource when trying to hone your swing. Often times, you will be on the course in front of friends and onlookers, which is not a good environment for trying to better your game and take chances. This is the point of the driving range - you can take swing after swing for as long as your heart desires!

Many times you will leave the driving range feeling confident that you have finally gotten your swing to where you want it to be, only to arrive on the course and feel as if you haven't progressed at all! There are a few reasons for this that, once tackled, can become a thing of the past!

The first, most obvious factor is nerves. After

a carefree hour at the driving range, the course can seem extremely intimidating, causing the golfer to freeze up and lose any progress he or she may have made on the range.

This can be conquered with simply will power. Just remember when you step onto the course that nothing is changing in terms of how you are hitting the ball. Concentrate on the game, not the people watching you.

The second factor has to do with the need to pinpoint your shot more on the course than on the range. However, If you focus on where you want the ball to land and not on driving it as far as possible, this problem will be a thing of the past!

The key as always is to play intelligently.

Dear golfing friend, if you are asking the question, "how can I play better golf more consistently?", I would urge you to consider learning as much about "your game" as possible.
